Membership in MSAE runs on a calendar year, beginning each October 1 and ending on September 30. New members may join year-round and enjoy a prorated membership for the second year. Membership Term
Association
This member type is appropriate for associations, convention and visitors bureaus, chambers, and association management companies.
Organizational membership levels are based on the number of full-time director-level staff in addition to the CEO. Organizational membership is a great value as it grants full member benefits to the entire staff of the organization.
Organizational memberships remain with the association when an employee relocates or changes employers.
Association Executive
This member type is appropriate for chief staff executives of associations that do not wish to extend member benefits to their employees.
This is an individual membership.
In the event that an executive relocates or changes employers, membership remains with the individual.
Association Professional
Association ProfessionalThis member type is appropriate for association professionals whose employers are not members. This is an individual membership. In the event that a professional relocates or changes employers, membership remains with the individual. |
EmeritusThis member type is appropriate for retired association professionals and executives who wish to stay connected to the profession. This is an individual membership. Membership remains with the individual. |
StudentThis member type is appropriate for students currently enrolled in an undergrad program who seek to be connected to the association profession. This is an individual membership. Membership remains with the individual. |
Industry Partner
This member type is appropriate for those who provide goods and services to associations, chambers, and membership-based organizations.
Allied membership extends member benefits to two representatives. Additional representatives can be added at the reduced rate listed below.
In the event that a representative relocates or changes employers, allied membership remains with the company.
Consultant
This member type is appropriate for solo practitioners who provide independent expertise and advisory services that help associations.
This membership extends benefits to the individual.
Individual memberships are portable and move with members in the event of a job change.
