In Shared Interest Groups, members engage in joint activities and discussions and share information while building relationships that enable them to learn from each other. SIGs are free to MSAE members and are an excellent way to maximize the value of MSAE membership. Check out the SIGs below.

Meetings, Education & Certification (MEC) SIGThis SIG explores the wide array of topics, best practices, and trends related to the management of association education programs, certification, and meetings. An intentional focus on supporting one another strengthens the learning and sharing. |
Membership Development
This group of membership professionals meets regularly to talk about membership-related topics and ideas to explore new concepts and help their associations grow. This SIG aims to share best practices and to facilitate conversations on the most important issues membership professionals are dealing with. The Membership SIG also enjoys a private community on MSAE's website.

Operations SIGThe Operations SIG deals with the myriad issues facing those with responsibilities or interest in association operations. While the group will target specific topics for discussion for each meeting, this SIG generally includes functional areas such as technology, finance, human resources, workplace, etc. |
CEO BreakfastThis breakfast provides the opportunity to connect with fellow association CEOs and executive directors to expand your professional network, collaborate on issues, and get the scoop on issues pertinent to chief executives. |
Marketing, Communications & Public Relations (MCPR) SIGThe MCPR SIG focuses on the idea-sharing and networking of those involved in communication activities for associations to keep them informed of current trends and share best practices. This SIG includes publications, public relations, media relations, advertising, marketing, and other related areas. |
Emerging Leaders (EL) SIGThe Emerging Leaders SIG is for professionals with less than three years of experience in associations or under age 35 looking to meet with peers to share experiences, learn more about the association industry, and network in a fun, social environment. The purpose of the SIG is to help young association professionals establish contacts and develop leadership skills to succeed in the association industry. |
