📣The Michigan Association of Broadcasters Wins Gold Marcom Award
The Michigan Association of Broadcasters' Be There campaign to recruit new talent to the broadcast industry won a Gold Marcom Award for excellence in marketing and communication.
Each year, about 6,500 entries are submitted for Marcom Awards from dozens of countries. It is judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
This year, the campaign was judged alongside organizations including Adobe, AARP, Amazon Business, American Heart Association, Bloomberg, Caterpillar, Citi, Fidelity Investments, Fifth Third Bank, John Deere, Panasonic, Procter & Gamble, Staples, TSA, Voya, Wells Fargo, and more.
The Be There campaign was produced by East Lansing-based King Media and done in collaboration with the MABstaff and Board of Directors.
The marketing effort includes impactful television and radio spots, social media, printed materials, and a long-form video. These resources, along with a new website BeThereMichigan.com, showcase career opportunities available at TV and radio stations across the state.
