Root and Fisher to Lead Membership and Development at MSAE

MSAE's Board of Directors and staff team are excited to welcome experienced professionals and long-time members of Michigan's association community, Nichole Fisher, CMP, and Ken Root to Team MSAE. 

Ken Root, Director of Membership and Engagement

Ken Root has been named Director of Membership and Engagement. Ken is a veteran association professional, having served as Director of Membership and Strategic Relations with the Small Business Association of Michigan before joining Ngage Management in 2018 as Director of Development and Member Services. Ken was named MSAE Emerging Leader in 2014 and played a dynamic volunteer role in the program for many years. A misguided Wolverine fan (ha-ha), Ken loves all things baseball and problem-solving.     

Nichole Fisher, CMP, Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships

Nichole Fisher, CMP, joins Team MSAE as Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships. Nichole previously served as Director of Clubhouse and Membership Operations at Lansing Country Club, where she grew the club's membership and dramatically improved member events. Well-known to many MSAE members, Nichole was Director of Professional Development & Special Events for MSAE from 2007 to 2012. An accomplished high school and college basketball official, Nichole is very active in the Capital Area Officials Association and was recently awarded their Tony Payne Lifetime Achievement Award.
